At your initial appointment, Dr. Parks will discuss your concerns about your CPAP and current Obstructive Sleep Apnea treatment or Snoring problem with you. He may request information from your physician or copies of your sleep studies. Dr. Parks will explain Oral Appliance alternatives, and determine if an Oral Appliance might be an appropriate option for you.
If it appears that an oral appliance will be an effective treatment, Dr. Parks will schedule a comprehensive examination for you to select a specific oral appliance.
Oral appliances are considered durable medical devices and are covered by medical, not dental, insurance.
